About ACP Foundation

The ACP Foundation, DFW (or simply ACP) was formerly the Association of Chinese Professionals, DFW (ACP-DFW). ACP-DFW was founded in 1993 and registered in the state of Texas as a non-political and non-profit organization. In 2006, ACP-DFW became the ACP Foundation, DFW. The mission of the organization is to promote and facilitate education, community friendship, professional cooperation, and peer-to-peer knowledge sharing.

Any person who agrees with the ACP bylaw, is eligible to apply for a membership. Currently we have members in a wide range of fields such as high-tech, medical, real estate, finance law, education, art, etc. There are also many entrepreneurs among us. The marjority of the memberships holds master or doctoral degrees.

ACP has established good relationships with similar organizations in many other cities.  Since 1996, ACP has attended all the conferences of the Federation of Associations of Chinese Professionals in Southern USA (FACPSU) and hosted the 1999 conference here in Dallas.

About 1200 families are on ACP's email list. You can apply to join ACP's member email list on the web at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ACP_DFW
